Matt McCoy - December 2015
Hey all! Some big changes are coming to The Fill Ins; there’s really not much to say about it, so we’ll just hop right into it.
The BAD news: Matt McCoy has parted ways with The Fill Ins and has joined up with local metal band “No Power No Crown”. Matt will be a great addition to the band and we hate to see him go. We couldn't have made it this far without him but everyone involved knows it’s for the best and we wish Matt much happiness on his future endeavors with NPNC and Fithman Studios.
Welcome Adam Patterson!
The GOOD news: With that being said, we are happy to announce that Adam Patterson of Deadlock has joined up with us to rip us into a new era of The Fill Ins for all to enjoy! So far, he has been a great fit and we’re confident that everyone's going to love the sound Adam brings to the table.
We plan to continue and book shows, not slowing down or having any breaks during this transition; though we are uncertain of when we will be able to record next, so all plans for our EP have been postponed until further notice.
Adam’s first show with us will be 7/16 for the "Rock-n-Roll Anticompetition" at The Rabbit Hole in Charlotte NC! You can get your tickets for the event HERE.
We appreciate the support everyone has given us both behind the scenes and in person. You guys are the reason we are still truckin’ along today, and we promise not to disappoint.
